Set on 174 acres of lush tropical rainforest, Castaway Island Resort has a number of different room types to suit all groups.
Choose between an Island, Ocean View or Beach Bure to rest your weary bones. For larger families, the resort recommends the Castaway Five concept which comprises bures configured with an additional full-size single bed or cot as required.
The bures have recently received a facelift and are cool, well-ventilated and spacious.

Each Wednesday, Castaway Island invites its guests to immerse themselves in traditional Fijian ITaukei culture. Offering activities such as cooking classes, a Meke show and a traditional Fijian earth lovo dinner buffet — there’s plenty to see and do.

There are a total of four onsite restaurants to choose from. Water’s Edge is the resort’s main restaurant and serves up classic island fare. Nuku Marau is your classic grill, serving up classics such as burgers, sushi, sandwiches and wraps. Keen for a woodfire pizza feast? Then Sundowner Bar will be your go-to.
