Plantation Island reveals multi-million dollar upgrade

The first stage of Plantation Island’s multi-million dollar revamp is now complete.

Forty new rooms, an arrivals bure, restaurant, pool and bar are among some of the exciting developments that debuted early last month (01 September 2019).

“As the first stage of our resort-wide redevelopment, we couldn’t be happier with the result,” said Bradley Robinson, CEO, Raffe Hotels & Resorts.

“The architecture is quite striking and the build quality is excellent.”

“We can now offer our guests a seamless and more comfortable arrival experience as well as a fabulous beachside dining option,” he said.

The New Rooms

The brand new Ocean View Hotel Rooms are just steps away from the aqua sea itself.

Small families and couples get a hotel-style room option that creates a different experience than staying in the resort’s numerous stand-alone bures.

Wine and Dine

Headed by renowned Fijian Executive Chef Mo Arun, Tavola Restaurant and bar features traditional dishes that are fresh, light and delicious while having an Asian twist and numerous cultural touches from the Pacific Rim.

Poolside Living

Adjacent to the new restaurant is a brand new pool featuring Bionizer technology, which uses low level currents that pass between two copper and silver electrodes to sanitise the pool for a chemical-free swimming experience.
