FIVE STARS FOR TOKORIKI ISLAND RESORT

The luxurious Tokoriki Island Resort is now officially a five-star property following an update of its facilities and services.
Its new five-star rating is a small step up from its former 4.5 star status, with the property’s general manager telling I Do Fiji that he believes the resort “has always been five stars in terms of service, food and location”.
“Recent changes have improved the quality of the resort considerable, which in turn has awarded us with TripAdvisor #1 Top Hotel in Fiji rating for the fifth consecutive year, the #1 Hotel for Service and Romance rating, and the opportunity to elevate our star rating.”
The exclusive adults-only property has seen a lot of changes over the last three years, with a private helipad added for those VIP moments, new sun loungers for the pool, a poolside butler service, a spa extension and a brand new jetty.
For late-departure guests, the resort also added two new Courtesy Bures complete with double outdoor showers and changing facilities set amongst lush tropical gardens. This means guests can store their luggage in a secure, dedicated luggage room, enjoy the resort’s facilities during the day, and then freshen up in a Courtesy Bure prior to departure with the resort’s compliments.
The resort’s most popular room category – the Beachfront Pool Bure – was bolstered from 14 to 18, bringing its total inventory to 8 Beachfront Bures, 18 Beachfront Pool Bures and 10 Beachfront Pool Villas.
