Travel Requirements: Pre-Arrival

Travelling to Fiji just keeps getting easier! All you need to show at check-in is: Proof that you’re fully vaccinated, a negative RAT (or PCR) test, travel insurance, pre-booked RAT test.

The Fijian government requires the following for all travellers:

1. Proof of vaccination

Travellers who are at least 18 years of age need to show proof of vaccination (digital copies are accepted). Fiji recognises AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson and Johnson, Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Coronavac (Sinovac), Covishield, BBIBP-CorV (Sinopharm), Covaxin, and Sputnik V.

Those below 18 years are not required to be vaccinated as long as they’re accompanied by their vaccinated parents or guardians.

2. Negative COVID-19 test results

From April 7th, all travellers need to pre-book their arrival RAT test via https://entrytestfiji.com/

All travellers 12 years and above need to bring proof of a negative COVID-19 test that has been taken within 24 hours of departure. You can take a PCR or RAT test and either digital or paper-based copies are accepted.

However, make sure your test results show the following information:

● The traveller’s name and date of birth

● Clear test result

● Type of test (PCR or RAT)

● Type of specimen collected

● Testing kit brand

● Date when the specimen was collected

● Date when the test was done

*Note: Any missing information can lead to delays in your travel and could void your certificate.

3. Travel insurance

To enter Fiji, you need to have travel insurance with COVID-19 coverage. In case you’re not able to secure one before flying in, you can purchase one from Fijicare.

Departure

RAT or PCR tests are available in Fiji at your own expense, and in the event of a positive test result before the trip home, you’re required to quarantine for 7 days before returning home. It’s important to check with your specific hotel on their protocols for quarantining at the time of booking.
