So, what’s ‘I Do Fiji’ all about?

deahann-2 After more than 16 years tailoring ‘the big day’ for countless couples tying-the-knot in Fiji, I’m taking the initiative to fill a void in the destination wedding resource market to pass on ‘need to know’ Fiji wedding questions through this newsletter.

I Do Fiji – Weddings is a free to subscribe fortnightly newsletter I’m putting together for my current, past and new brides, looking for answers and deeper insight into all aspects of getting hitched in Fiji.
More on that shortly, but first a bit about me.

My name is Deahann Urqueza. I’m a highly qualified, top achieving travel agent with a passion for the South Pacific and in particular, Fiji. Joining the travel industry in 1999 as a South Pacific specialist, I quickly found my calling and have been customising wedding and honeymoons for customers since.

Eleven years ago it was time to see what all the hype was about, marrying my husband, Drai, in a chapel surrounded by 40 friends and family during a ceremony on Mana Island Resort & Spa.
Last year, with three children by our side, we returned to Mana Island to renew our vows – so it’s clearly apparent, I’m Fiji obsessed!

So what exactly is I Do Fiji – Weddings all about, and what make it different from what else is out there?

This first issue introduces readers to the format, type of content, features and regular inclusions you’ll quickly come to know and rely. Along with unique cover stories, you’ll find a regular ‘Dear Dee’ column, some of the latest Fiji-related news, image galleries of recently married couples, testimonials, interviews, resort spotlights, sample menus and giveaways – all content aimed at equipping you with the knowledge to plan the biggest day of your life, in paradise.

Soon you’ll also see the introduction of another newsletter focused solely on honeymoons – I Do Fiji – Honeymoons.

Thanks for reading and I welcome your feedback.
