Melanie & James’ Wedding Day
Guests of Melanie & James’ beachfront wedding beneath swaying palm trees & cloudy skies at The Warwick Fiji enjoyed a pre-ceremony cocktail at the Sunset Bar, named in their honour – the James & Melanie Delight.
The weather on the Coral Coast in the afternoon in June was perfect for the couple, Melanie told I Do Fiji Holidays.
“Our choice of a 3pm wedding gave us plenty of time to enjoy the day as we got ready. We had ample time between the ceremony and reception, at 6pm, to have photos which included stunning sunset shots.”
The outdoor Navu Deck, set in front of the ocean, was the ideal setting for Melanie and James to celebrate their day.

We choose the Warwick Fiji for its clear water, beach perfect for snorkelling, and water activities, as well as its world-class restaurant. The resort also has an ‘adults’ section making it ideal for our wedding as no one had kids. We were able to enjoy a little relaxation time, taking advantage of theWarwick’s 5-star spa and private romantic dinner. It was a hit with all the guests.
“Our 3pm ceremony gave us plenty of time to enjoy the day as we prepared and also allowed us enough time for our photo session which included stunning sunset shots before hitting he reception,” Melanie explained. “The Navu Deck is a beautiful wooden Fijian-style deck located outdoors in front of the ocean.”
