Jessie & Alvin’s Wedding Day

Where?

Mana Island Resort & Spa

When?

14 August 2017

Why?

IDFH: Why did you choose Mana Island Resort & Spa?

Jessie: A family member informed us about Mana Island one day when we were discussing different places to get married in Fiji, so I did some research. The photos were that appealing we decided to fly up a year before our planned wedding date to see this beautiful island firsthand. All I can say is the moment we stepped onto Mana we knew this was the place! And we were right.

The staff at Mana Island Resort & Spa are so loving and welcoming and just made us feel like we were royalty.

IDFH: Describe your wedding and the suppliers you used?

Jessie: The day of our wedding was honestly the best day of our lives!  The weather was beautiful. The wedding team at Mana Island Resort (Salu and Vinnie) went above and beyond to make sure everything we asked for went to plan. We can’t thank them enough.

Our hair & makeup artists (from Hair and Makeup Perfectionist) were so much fun to work with and performed an amazing job on us ladies. I highly recommend this team!

Our photographer/cinematographer, ZoomFiji, captured all our special moments and watching our wedding video back now makes us feel like we are back there again.

IDFH: Which venue at Mana Island did you decide on for your ceremony?

Jessie: We chose to get married at Mana’s Seaside Chapel. The white walls with the glass windows that overlook the ocean was a view that I will never forget. It was amazing! Our guests could not stop talking about just how beautiful the chapel was.

Wore?

IDFH: What designer dress did you and your bridal party wear?

Jessie: My dress was custom made by Holly Rose Couture on the Gold Coast. My bridesmaids’ dresses were from Forever New. Groom and Groomsmen’s outfits were from YD.

IDFH: What bouquet did you choose?

Jessie: I chose to stick with tropical Fijian flower bouquets for my bridesmaids and myself. The flowers were beautiful and all the tropical colours went so well together.
