The ‘Bula Bus’, best known as the transport of choice for guests moving around Denarau, is set to be replicated – in a way – in Fiji’s south on the Coral Coast.
InterContintental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa is preparing to offer a regular Bula Bus service of its own to make it easier for guests to get around the massive property.
Set on 14 acres of manicured tropical gardens, the InterCon Fiji already has a fleet of golf carts to transport guests from location to location. The new regular loop service is confined within the resort & will offer relief for guests, particularly so for those staying in the hillside Club InterContinental rooms popular with newlyweds.
Providing seating for up to 14, the Bula Bus vehicle has already arrived at the resort and will be introduced in coming weeks.
Pathways have been widened and new Bula Bus “stops” have popped up, scattered throughout the resort at key points of interest, such as restaurants, reception, pools, spa, accommodation wings and Club InterContinental, as pictured above.
