Bucks party options for the fellas

triamcinolone acetonide where to buy Hens parties, spa treatments, hair styling, manicures, pedicures, tanning salons, pre-wedding cocktails…the list of options goes on an on for the bride-t0-be and her bridesmaids before their ‘big day’ in Fiji. But what about the groom and his groomsmen? What can they do?

The truth is, Fiji punches well above its weight in terms of variety and choice of activities for guys wanting to celebrate their last days of single-dom.

ziplineThere’s plenty of adventure activities that the fellas will love – quad-biking, jet skiing and zip lining to name a few. Plus there’s the ever popular Cloud 9 floating island, or fishing, cruising, golf and even a visit to the hot springs. If the boys want to try something really unique and authentic, there’s pig hunting in the jungle!

To gain more insight on Bucks party logistics and options in Fiji, I Do Fiji Holidays spoke with hens & bucks party specialist Sangeeta Devi from Events Fiji.

Devi’s list of happy clients continues to grow, in the past three years delivering over 400 events for bridal parties from Australia, New Zealand and beyond.

There’s a myriad of activities you can do for your bucks/stag here in Fiji. It just depends on what the guys want out of their day and who is coming,

3ae79f_4ea62b2f5cf3492a9dbb79eebdbc8040Events Fiji organises custom days for parties depending on the group’s budget. Activities start at around FJ$150 for a quad bike adventure, or from FJ$760 (per group) for a fishing charter.

Alternatively, pub crawls and night clubbing through some of Nadi and/or Port Denarau’s most popular bars can be organised.

If the groom isn’t interested in revelling too wildly, then the groomsmen should at least get the groom out of the resort and take a look around the countryside to some sites.

You can stay in a hotel in any country. Immerse yourself in Fiji, experience the culture, do something different,

said Devi.

Should the groom be after a quiet round of drinks, most hotels and resorts have their own bar, or if not, there will be one next door or a short drive away.

So, dare we ask, what’s the scenario if groomsmen want a stripper for the groom in Fiji in his last few hours of bachelorhood?

IDFH has been informed there’s no such thing as “strippers” in Fiji, however Events Fiji can organise island dancers/hula dancers who serve beverages to guests on specific cruise packages.

Generally speaking, the minimum number of participants required for an Events Fiji function is six, with no real maximum.

Devi suggests guys plan to hold their bucks party outside 48 hours of their wedding day (or longer if the group are intending on having a big one) to avoid any potential hiccups.

To avoid disappointment, bookings with Events Fiji are recommended 6-12 months in advance as the company only hosts one group per day.
