Alana & Peter’s Wedding Day
Every bride’s worst nightmare became reality for Alana when the morning of her & Peter’s wedding it rained.
Fortunately though the sun appeared just in time.
The most memorable part of the day, aside from the ceremony itself, was walking from my room to the vehicle arranged to take me to the chapel. A little girl emerged from her room and started to cry, asking her mum if I was a real princess! So I stopped and gave her a hug. It made my day as I had been so stressed and her comments brought a sense of calm over me and were a distraction.
“We were married in the Seaside Chapel with the Fijian choir singing. We had come prepared with our own playlist, but the night before we chose the serenaders instead. It was the best thing I did. It was beautiful.” Alana told I Do Fiji Holidays.

Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort & Spa
I chose the Shangri-La based on your recommendation! It was great value for my guests and had excellent facilities. I’d stay there again. It was the best week of my life.
